new clothes in action

In one of my previous posts I was wearing my black denim skirt, mustard crop top and tied shirt combo - the top and skirt of which i purchased in London, when i visited friends for a wedding (also in a previous post). Here are the rest of the items i purchased in London:

I have been after this white fluffy Topshop dress for ages! Perfect for the summer time and it was in the sale - i love a bargain!

This cold shoulder dress is from Primark and was also a massive bargain! Originally the price tag said £13, which i though was acceptable but with a £5 sale sticker i thought that was amazing. Getting to the checkout, as the lady scan it the item came up as £2! It has an elasticated waistband which is great because you can place it on your hips or waist; the tie at the top of the dress looks good both tied together in a bow or just left to hang.

I love the cold shoulder look as you can still wear a jacket or shirt over the top without it feeling uncomfortable (something that happens when wearing a jacket over a bardot top- girl problems).

This grey maxi dress is from Primark and is an easy, simple throw on when heading to the beach and will look great under a kimono whilst having tea at the nearest bar/restaurant on holiday this summer (i wish!).

And finally, the black denim Topshop skirt and two of the three tops i bought (the third is the mustard ribbed crop top). I think the 2 for £10 top offer Topshop provide is a great chance to buy two styles that can be worn over the same skirt/trouser/jeans that you may be purchasing at the same time. When buying my black skirt i bought the florescent orange crop top above and a mustard coloured ribbed crop top (shown in previous posts). The red crop top above is from Primark that can be worn over skirts, shorts and high-waisted shorts in summertime.
