Selfridge's In a Nutshell

So this was my first Selfridge's experience and it was unforgettable! While i was staying in London i couldn't not visit the place i *now* call heaven- it was incredible! The shop is how many floors high? (i lost count) and full of how many different designers could ever imagine? (i also lost count!). I don't understand how you couldn't fall in love with it.

As we entered the revolving doors - you have to enter through these doors, the push& pull doors would never have created this much tension - i felt as if i was stepping into an imaginary shop in my head; full of different smells, lights, shoes, rings, earrings, patterns, trends, styles, designers and everything that i love under one huggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeee roof. Mum took me around the floors and introduced me to the most gorgeous Osca de la Renta gowns, and her personal favourite Victoria Beckham section. She was speechless.

So onto the buys:
Yes i admit that I only purchased the Office shoes in Selfridge's so that i could get a big yellow bag...no that is not a crime and yes i may be weird, but just look at the bag! I actually got two big yellow bags because i also purchased a pair of Kurt Geiger Carvela heels at an absolutely gob-dropping price (of which I am going to keep to myself!).

I am in love with this Rose Gold colour; I know it was big last year but i believe it is still here my friends and that we should take full advantage of this! As you my have seen from my recent Insta- pics, these babies go with anything from jeans to skirts to coloured and patterned trousers. You really can mix and match without looking like a disaster clash. As for my be-a-utiful black heels, they're yet to be worn due to my 'only wear once' policy - although i think i may have let this one slide for this pair- as i have not yet had the right occasion to wear them! The last thing i want to do is ruin them so i am thinking and waiting for the right chance to show them off...under a LBD maybe, or patterned culottes or an elegant maxi? They're brilliant and will go with anything, I am certain of it!

Please admire them with me because i'm sure they'll stay in their boxes for a good few months before i actually wear them...well the heels especially!

I apologise for how long it has taken for this post to be published, when the weekends arrive the days just fly by and after a while you just forget about the things you love doing the most at weekends such as blogging! So when it comes down to posting i then end up posting at least twice in that one day, and then not for another week or so. Oh how wrong it that, if anyone has any tips please do share?

Anyway, all in all this experience was one i shall never forget and i cannot wait to get back into my heaven and purchase a lot more!
