LIPSTICK SWATCHES: FREEDOM | BEAUTY

Hey guys, so today is a rather different post to my usual ones - to be honest, all of my beauty posts have been new to my blog - as this is a lipstick swatch post! A type of post I want to integrate more into my blog because lets face it, 2017 is my year of obsessing over makeup! I have become absolutely obsessed with makeup, as you may have noticed from my Christmas present post - that was basically just makeup - that you can view here if you haven't already. 

As for this post, I am talking out:

MY REVIEW: 

I have to admit, these lipsticks were fresh out of their packaging as I swatched them. 

POSITIVES: they're super super creamy! Honestly, they glide so smoothly onto the skin and are a lot more pigmented than I was expecting. I have swatched them in colour order on my skin, as you will be able to tell, and if I'm honest, I had to go over the colours a few times - especially the first, lightest shade - but for the price, they're great lipsticks.

This pink collection, I think, is a great idea as well! You get a variation of five shades in one box, which retails at £5.00...I mean how can you complain at that? They're great shades; great pigmentation; super creamy and soft on the skin...there's nothing bad to say!

For me, however, the only bad thing I would say is that I am not a huge fan of a glossy finish lipstick - that is all I have to say negative about them - but that's just my personal opinion. For any of you that love a glossy finish - which looks so much better on everyone else but me, I swear - would love these lipsticks. 

I think they are a great present for someone that is starting out with makeup, someone that wants to try different brands of makeup, and for someone who is looking to expand their collection because they're such cute lipstick shades. This is why I think my mum bought them for me; I am building my makeup collection and I do love pink!

OVERALL:

LOVE THEM!

For the price, the quality is spot on.
