FAMILY WEEKEND IN LONDON | LIFESTYLE

HEY GUYS! SO! This post is a rather exciting one because I get to recap over my amazing weekend in London!

I was in London from Thursday - Saturday staying at the Union Jack Club with my family. It was a very special occasion because my grandad was being awarded an MBE for his amazing service in the Navy. We are all so unbelievably proud of him; he deserves every bit of it! This then meant that a lot of celebrating was needed!

I have put the following photos in chronological order of my weekend, so keep reading (scrolling) to find out what we did in London to celebrate my grandad's huge honour!

P.S there are quite a few outfit pictures in here too, obviously...

Thursday's outfit:
Wearing:
Jumper dress: Zara hoodie dress
Shoes: Bershka cut out peep toe ankle boots

Friday's outfit...
Wearing:
Dress: Primark midi black dress
Jacket: Primark khaki midi duster jacket
Shoes: Bershka cut out peep toe ankle boots
Bag: River Island faux fur handbag

 & Award Ceremony day!

Westminster Bridge and the view...

I finally went to the MISSGUIDED store!!

Family photo before the ceremony! Huge congratulations!

Celebrations were massive at The Savoy Hotel, London!

Friday night dinner at The Ivy,
Wearing:
Top: Newlook high neck black top
Jacket: Cropped white and black quilted Papaya jacket
Skirt: Bershka black ribbed midi skirt
Shoes: Bershka black faux suede sock boots

The celebrations continued as we ate dinner at The Ivy, London! The food was ... indescribable! Absolutely incredible. I honestly don't think I'll ever eat food as good as that ever again!

On Saturday were hit up LFW! First, we visited Somerset House and viewed the amazing LOCAL / GLOBAL International Fashion Showcase 2017!

Then we walked past the entrance, watching the photographers, keeping an eye out for bloggers/celebs and listening to the protesters!

Saturday's outfit...
Wearing:
Dress: Zara shirt dress with rose embroidery
Jacket: Primark khaki midi duster jacket
Shoes: Zara beige sneakers

AND THAT WAS EVERYTHING (in a nutshell)! I can't remember the last time my family got together (due to living distance), so that made it even more special (and no-one in my family has achieved a higher award, so that was really the most important/special bit!).

It was also especially nice to spend some time with my mum in London! It sounds weird saying that considering I live in London, but if you've done the Penzance - Paddington train ride you'll understand why my mum doesn't do it often!

But basically guys, I had an amazing weekend, and it'll be rather hard to top it (and what I really mean by that is, that it'll be very hard to find a nicer tasting steak!)
