I usually love my outfits, if I didn't I wouldn't wear them right? But it was something about today's outfit that made me love it even more! As you can see the sun was blaring out today and so I wore my oversized Urban Outfitters dress and my Boohoo cape, however I tried something a little new. I put a belt around my cape in order to keep the longer sides down and because my dress is oversized, by adding a belt the outfit was brought together at the waist, creating a skinny looking silhouette. Which made me rather happy.
I cant believe I had never tried this technique before today, it is comfortable, warm and super flattering. I am going to attempt this look with my mums cape and some other oversized jumpers to create a baggy, but flattering comfortable look.
I am hoping that these rays of sunshine is only the beginning of what will be a gorgeous summer, and that it will stay for a long time. However, anyone else that lives in Cornwall will know exactly how broad that hope is, and that it will possibly, probably never happen.
Oh the truth hurts.
