Leather & Patterns

The sun has been out for the last couple of days, that's right- first time in how long?! I was so stuck for what to wear because I could tell that regardless of the sun shine the wind was still blowing horrendously strong and...well how can you really dress for that? Your hair blows in every direction possible making it impossible to walk straight, big coats and oversized jumpers flap about so where is the warmth in that?

I went for a basic figure hugging outfit that I knew could keep in the heat at all times. This Topshop leather jacket is small and tight, with enough arm room to wiggle around in, but not too much you feel like your arm is going to drift away with the wind. Likewise, the long sleeve black top underneath was tight and tucked into my trousers, giving extra warmth and comfort.

As for the trousers, they brought patterns& brightness to my outfit without all the excess vibrant stuff. I have on and off days, like many other people I know and to add colour to your outfit can sometimes be more effort demanding than eating, so I thought my orange bag did the job.

Yesterday was a lazy day; I knew all I'd be doing is revising and staring into a computer screen for  the day so i stayed naturally clean and ignored my usual makeup routine. This way I also avoided the hair-stuck-in-eyelash situation that every girl hates.

Today's outfit on the other hand, was a lot more creative. I wore my superman t-shirt which I adore! I know I haven't worn it for a long time, why that is- I do not know. However, it looked great with my basic black Topshop jeans, my contrasting leather& denim Mango jacket and my cute pointed toe Urban Outfitters boots. I was clear of makeup once again today, what is going on? Someone needs to revive my makeup face! Anyway, I think this would also look great under an oversized knitted cardi as well as my oversized blue Topshop blazer. It honestly would go under anything don't you think?
