Evening guys!
I am really excited for todays's post because I am sharing with you my first ever 'proper' outfit photos. Haha. What I mean by that is, today I met with a lovely fashion photographer who I am going to be working with quite a lot to give you guys some real, proper, professional outfit pictures that show off how I am styling my fave, new (and old) items!
So today I am showing you how I've styled my new fave Zara bomber jacket which...I am OBSESSED with! Keep reading to see more of it and how I styled it!
So this Zara slogan camo bomber jacket is a-ma-zing, right? I am obsessed. I have been after this ever since it's release (around September 2016, maybe?), but I was too stingy to buy it. If that makes me sound bad, then I apologise, but it's the truth. Student life is about buying the bargains and that is exactly what I did!
This jacket went into the sale in January so as soon as I saw it hanging on the railings; just sat there waiting for me to grab it and purchase it...it had to be mine! However, it cannot become yours right now as it is currently out of stock online so I can't link it for you guys, but you might just find it in your nearest Zara store too...
The jacket was not the only new item in my outfit today; I also purchased my white T from the Bershka store in Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford. If you have been to this store then you will understand how awesome it is for bargains, and if you haven't then you need to go! There was rails and rails full of items under £10, under £5; amazing for my student loan. Obviously, there was also full priced items for all you hard working people.
I got this slogan white T for a whopping £1.99. Yes, you heard me correctly! It say's 'now / here' which I don't really understand, but I was mostly drawn to this T because of the shift in material at the bottom. It goes from cotton to a thin, shirt-like material which falls into a curved hem. I love it because it isn't a boring white T: the slogan and curved hem add extra detailing while also adding length.
By adding my basic Nike Air Max, I made this outfit a very casual, street appropriate one. If I had exchanged the leggings and trainers for high waisted black skinny jeans, (with the top tucked in) and heeled sock boots, or courts, then the look would have become much more sophisticated and restaurant appropriate.
For me, a casual outfit is much more appropriate for my day-to-day activities as walking to and from uni, get on and off a bus; it just wouldn't be practical in heels (even though that makes me sad). Don't get me wrong it could be done, but I know I'd rather stick to trainers, boots with a small-medium heel or my chunky platform pumps.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any items to tag for you, sorry! But I really hope you enjoyed this outfit and type of post, because it is definitely here to stay (along with some more fun ideas to come).
Here are all of my social media links where you can find me, comment, and chat to me about this look, and obviously any others!
