So...I haven't posted on here for a while now have I? I'm not going to bore you with the countless reason for this though, instead I am going to jump straight into this lifestyle post. 

I want to discuss periods, yes. Periods. 

The dreaded 7 days of hell all 'us women have to deal with each and every month...yet boys don't think they have it easy? Periods are something we do not talk about enough and, well why is this? I guess you could call it a 'taboo' subject because it isn't something we shout about, and rightly so; we know that we all have them so why bring it up? 

Am I right? 

HOWEVER, WOULD YOU TALK ABOUT IT IF I SAID I HAD ONE OF THE MOST HELPFUL HACKS TO MAKING PERIODS EASIER FOR US ALL?!

I'll take that as a yes.

HOW TO STYLE KNEE HIGH BOOTS | STYLE

TGIF...am I right?! 

I mean, I still work at the weekends, but I'm happy it's Friday. Today I have styled my new knee high booties from Ego (find them here) that you may have seen on my Instagram/ Snapchat a few weeks ago; I wanted to save them and show you them properly in this post.

I have styled these boots in three different ways; the three different ways that I would wear them basically. As it is summer, all of these different outfits work perfectly because you can easily wear these boots in the day and night. If you style them right, especially in the day time, they wont look to OTT (if you know what I mean?).

FINDING NEW BRANDS | FASHION

Happy Monday lovelies!

Today I wanted to talk about finding new brands because I've been wanting to change my website searches and discover new clothes in new places. My current 'go-to' sites include Missguided and Boohoo for obvious reasons (they're super affordable and always have the latest fashion), while my 'go-to' stores include Primark and Zara which are also great because Primark has the best basics at the cheapest prices and I love Zara because I can always find a bargain in there. However, I want to shop in new places!

This does not mean I won't be shopping in these four places anymore, because trust me, I WILL be. I am just trying to explore the world of fashion website's. So if you'd like to join me on this journey then keep reading!

So the brand that I am lusting after at the minute is I Saw It First, a brand that I had not come across until I saw some gorgeous girls go on a PR trip with them to Ibiza. Did you see this too? Girls such as Jordan Lipscombe, Han Renee, Yasmin Chanel and Jamie Genevieve (to name a few) were looking amazing out there with the brand.

MY FIRST YOUTUBE VIDEO

HEY GUYS! 

I HAVE AN EXCITING BLOG POST FOR YOU TODAY: IT IS ALL ABOUT MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL! YAY! 

I finally plucked up the courage to post my very first Youtube video. I had been debating the idea for such a long time and I had even filmed a few videos and tested where would be best to film videos in my flat, but was too nervous to post them. Once I had finally found the best place to film, I edited it and plucked up the courage to post it. 

I am so so happy that I have finally posted it as I have had some lovely feedback from some lovely blogger/youtuber girls which is exactly what I was nervous about (what other people would think), but so far the comments have been positive and constructive. 

I thought I would make it 'official' on my blog too so that you, my readers, can also jump on the band wagon (if you want) and watch my videos! I would love, love, love it if you could! 

THE LIEBESTER AWARDS

Hope you're well. Today I have a rather different post for you because, well, I've never been 'nominated' for something like this before. I am bringing to you the Liebester Awards which involves bloggers choosing other bloggers to answer the questions that they have set for them.

1 - If you could wear on shade of lipstick for the rest of your, what would it be and why?

2 - Where do you see yourself and your blog 10 years from now?

Quite stereotypically, I do love the idea of being a full time blogger, working with fashion, constantly writing and going on cute travels is heaven to my ears. I would also like to be using my degree (Fashion Journalism), so if I could travel and write about fashion and just basically be surrounded by fashion as a full time job I would be so happy. #Goals

3 - What is your go to alcoholic drink?

Mojito! Erryday. Single. Day.

I am partial to Prosecco/Champagnes for occasions though, oh and a Vodka & Coke in the club.  

4 - Fave makeup brand?

This is difficult because I love all brands for different things, I'd say Sleek Makeup though, you all know how much I adore the Solstice Highlighter Palette!

5 - If you were a handbag, what bag would you be?

This is a hard one. Definitely made from leather, in a large tote style (because I keep EVERYTHING in my handbag), probably of a plain colour as well because then it would be easier to style...

If I have to pick a designer/brand though, I think DIOR bags are stunning (obviously!), the Celiné nude bag (regularly seen on Instagram is gorgeous)...I'm sorry, I just can't choose my favourite! I love everything!

TAILORED WAISTCOAT | FASHION

GOOD EVENING HUNS (if you watch Imogen Hudson on Youtube YOU KNOW! It's caught on and I can't help but say it, sorry...)

I hope you're well. Yes this is my third post of the week, and yes it's going to be a permanent thing. I have had a MASSIVE change and have finally organised my sh*t. I can't talk all the credit though, Landrine (Twitter: @Landrinerr) has been a huge, huge help and even typed up a personalised blog planner for me, and YES I'm sticking to it! I'm so happy. 

If that doesn't prove how good, easy and flexible my blog plan must be then I don't know what will. If you need help organising your blogging life then definitely hit her up!

However, I will explain my new, improved and organised life with you in another post if that's something you'd be interested in reading/learning (just let me know below).

#ITSSARAH FAVES | WISH LIST WEDNESDAY

SO FIRST OF ALL

I just wanted to say how much of an inspiration Sarah is to me, like talk about #goals! I look up to her so much because I think she has such a fun, cute, stylish and SASSY, but achievable look which is both affordable and expensive so you don't always have to break the bank to achieve her looks yet you can splurge and treat yourself and look just as good as her - which is what I LOVE and appreciate most from. Her blog has grown so quickly in what I'd say was a short period of time? I haven't been a follower from the very beginning, but I do remember seeing a specific photo of Sarah marking her two year blog 'anniversary' with a giant 2 - anyone else remember this picture? I'm sure I'm not making it up...comment below if you know what picture I mean. Anyway, the picture led to an extensive Instagram stalk and a long read of her blog posts which basically made me fall in love with her. I am now a huge supporter or what Sarah does, her clothing lines and new sunglasses range are stunning and I am super happy for her! We should always SUPPORT and ENCOURAGE each other through what ever life throws at us and during the opportunities we may get, in order to become better versions or ourselves. 

SO ONTO THE POST

As Sarah's sunglasses range is to go live TOMORROW with Noughts & Kisses I thought it was the perfect time to post a Wish List full of items from her clothing, swimwear and sunglasses range so that I can include all of the sassy pieces I NEED this summer (I have photos of the glasses already from the site because I signed up for exclusive access - see told you I support her - but don't worry you can get yours tomorrow!).

FINISHING UNI | LIFESTYLE

MY FIRST YEAR AT UNI...

When I think about my first year of uni, I instantly think about how quickly it has gone...I just can't believe it! People are right when they tell you ''it will fly by'' because it literally has! It's been an exciting year, filled with lots of big steps and exciting things, new people and happy memories, a long with some sad and upsetting situations, but those that I wouldn't change because they've made me who I am today. 

I want this post to be helpful to those of you starting university in September 2017, or even relatable to those of you who are already at uni and have experienced similar things to me because it's bound to happen, right? ALL of us are in the same boat when we move to uni; moving away from family and loved ones, whether its 10 minutes down the road or 100 miles away. We all have to deal with the same 'struggles' that occur, I mean, we have to do our own dishes, clothes washing and cleaning, OH, and lets not forget food shopping! 

Now, I don't want to sound like I was a lazy child living at home because I wasn't, but when we move away it all seems more real and it feels like we have one hundred more things to do than we did at home, right? 

We are expected to study, read and write in our own time, re-read/ rewrite notes, AS WELL AS cook our own dinner and wash the dishes afterwards. Talk about PRESSURE? 

But how else would you do it? 

YES, uni life comes with pressures, late nights and a never ending to-do list, BUT it also comes with exciting opportunities, new adventures, new studies and life long friends that you wouldn't meet in the comfort of your home town.

''An outfit post, what?''

I KNOW! I am back and I am here to stay. I have spent the day writing lots of great (I think) content, and I am very happy to be sharing this outfit post with you guys because...well it's been a while. 

If anyone was to ask me what I find hard about blogging it would be remaining consistent, which sounds silly considering this is something I am so SO passionate about, but because I do not have the luxury of blogging full time, when my part time jobs start in the summer after uni, my time is cut in half (again) and I just get side tracked for a while. It's ok though, this is something that I know I need to improve on and I am determined to become a better, more consistent blogger. I'll get there!

This is just a big bundle of the main pieces I am (and will be) wearing this S/S because they're all my favourites (basically).  I am IN LOVE with sock boots as you may remember from this post, and the ones from Ego are amazing! Likewise, the sliders that they sell are beautiful as well so hit them up if you're after any gorgeous shoes this year. 

As for shorts and skirts, I take any opportunity to get my legs out so that I can try (and I mean try!) to catch some colour on my legs, so they're definitely a big hit in my S/S wardrobe. To go with these, bralettes are great cute tops to pair over the top, as well as crop jumpers which are my top faves at the minute! They provide the perfect coverage during these transitional months from A/W - S/S and they will be so handy to throw on over a bikini at the beach in the (proper) summer. All of these pieces are so helpful and handy, don't you think?
